  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts. Post and adjust journal entries as needed.
  • Transaction Processing: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Review, verify, and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and report variances.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Ensure records are stored securely and are easily accessible for review.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Coordinate with tax advisors or authorities as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience with financial software and systems is a plus.
