  • Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs and specifications for products and systems. Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to develop and modify engineering drawings and models.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs. Analyze test results and make necessary modifications to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Analysis and Simulation: Perform engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and fluid flow simulations. Use analytical tools and software to predict performance and identify potential issues.
  • Project Management: Manage engineering projects from conception through completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Compliance: Ensure designs and processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Conduct risk assessments and address any safety or compliance issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance product quality and performance.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support for existing products and systems. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions for maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or in progress.
  • Experience: [X] years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on [specific area, e.g., product design, manufacturing, thermal systems]. Experience with relevant engineering tools and software is required.
